I am a British-born, Sydney-trained Pilates instructor who fell for Pilates over 10 years ago. I spent most of my teenage years doing gymnastics and ballet and it was these passions that made me appreciate the human body when it is strong and supportive enough to allow you to move, dance, play sport and simply walk effortlessly and elegantly. As I grew up and started work in the corporate world of advertising in London I started to suffer from the regular ailments of office life; lower back pain, stiff neck and shoulders and generally not feeling happy with my posture and the strength of my body. I didn’t simply want to accept this discomfort and so it was at this stage in my life that I discovered the magical benefits of Pilates. After 5 years in London, practising Pilates for my own personal benefit, I had the desire to learn more. In 2011 my husband and I moved to Sydney and it’s there where I began my training and where I started my business. Over 10 years on and I am now Stott Mat & Reformer trained, a specialist pre & post-natal trainer as well as recently completing my Menopause and Movement training.
Beginners to more experienced Clients welcome
· I am a strong believer in the importance of the key principles of Pilates; Breathing, core engagement &
neutral spine because these are crucial to getting the most out of this magic form of exercise.
· I am Stott-trained and offer mat Pilates with props such as Therabands, foam rollers, balls & circle.
· The first session always includes a postural analysis and then I tailor the sessions according to your needs.
· I offer private sessions and group classes.
